Funding Finder

Find the money
for your greenhouse.

Answer four questions. We’ll show you every federal, state and regional program we’ve verified that could help a community organization pay for a Harvest Unit — including the ones that will waste your time, marked so you can skip them.

Free. No sign-up, no email, nothing captured. We built it because we needed it ourselves.

01

Where are you?

Federal programs work anywhere. State programs are the ones we’ve had to research one at a time.

02

What kind of organization are you?

This decides who is allowed to sign the application — which is not always you.

03

What do you need money for?

Pick as many as apply. Most projects need three or four sources, not one.

04

Is the site rural?

Several USDA programs turn on population thresholds. This is a hard gate, not a tiebreaker.

What this tool is, and isn’t

We’d rather tell you the gaps.

Federal is complete

Every federal program here applies in all fifty states. We verify them against the agency notices, not aggregator sites.

State coverage is partial

Virginia, California, North Carolina, Tennessee, Pennsylvania and West Virginia are mapped in depth. Everywhere else, you’ll get the federal picture and an honest note that we haven’t done your state yet.

Nothing here is live

State agencies publish by email listserv and PDF — no machine-readable feed exists to plug into. Anyone claiming a live all-sources finder is bluffing about the state half. Ours is hand-verified and dated.

If your state isn’t mapped and you want it to be, tell us. We add states as real projects need them, and we’d rather build yours than guess.

Jimmy the Joule, a friendly flame character

Grant paperwork is nobody’s favourite part.

But a warm greenhouse in February is worth an afternoon of forms. If you get stuck on which lane fits, write to us — we’ve read all of these twice.
